If you have clicked this page, well I'm afraid to say you will not find any prices being displayed. However, since you have made the effort to try & find out & the fact you are now here, please read the advice that follows & we will show you that price should not be the most important factor when looking for entertainment.
If you still want to get down to the “nitty gritty” this is how we structure our prices.
FOR PUBS, MANAGED BARS & PUBLIC FUNCTIONS We would expect a fee that reflects on at least 10% of the nights bar takings or if charging for admission, then we would expect a fee based on the door takings.
- for example, if the bar takings for the evening = £1500, we would expect a fee £150, We believe this to be the fairest way possible.
- We also expect to be able to cover our expenses for travel & any additional out of pocket expenses. For this reason there is a minimum fee limit.
- You agree to comply with our Terms & Conditions
NOTE :- This does not apply to single “one off” bookings taken for December Resident bookings are normally price structured differently to private party or "one off" nights so we cannot give a solid example of our rates unless you tell us your exact requirements.
FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS The overall price we quote will depend on several factors:
- How many guests are coming (bigger venue's & more people = a bigger sound system needs to be used)
& the number of hours we are expected to work for (longer hours = larger fee)
- The venue location & type of booking.
- The amount of equipment we need to use,
- The day, date & time of year being the biggest factor,
- Transport & travel costs - for example if we need to pay additional fee's for parking or overnight accommodation,
- The need for hiring in extra equipment + possible requirement of a larger vehicle etc.
- You agree to comply with our Terms & Conditions
Some DJ's can charge a flat rate of £50 per hour & then charge £10 per light they use on top - we don't, the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
ALSO -
- If you want to combine Disco with Karaoke, then we charge for BOTH services. In other words we expect you to pay for the going rate for the 2 services added together in a single fee.
Why? 1st You are getting 2 services, so you pay for 2 services.. In lay mans terms, Just because you have cable / satellite TV you still are expected to pay for a normal TV license on top of your normal subscription. 2nd Combining karaoke & disco in our opinion doesn’t work! People who come to your event will often want one or the other & not both. Half your guests will want to dance & listen to lively music & not want to listen to dull songs being performed badly by their drunken friends, but then the other half want to sing, so usually combining these types of events are a powder-keg of potential trouble & in our experience have often resulted in fights or something gets damaged - usually our equipment!.
- Wedding Party prices are structured in much the same way as private parties although you could expect to pay an additional 10% - 25% more than the rate for a normal party because the more professional the disco service, then the more expensive the costs to run such a show. This is because weddings require a lot more preparation & planning & involve a lot more work because the events are structured differently.
It really baffles us why people are willing to spend £300+ on a wedding cake & then expect a DJ to turn up & work for 9 hours or more, entertain your guests, help make the day more memorable, then sit arguing over a fee they expect to pay that is usually well below half what they paid for the wedding cake & probably will cost the least to make up the day.
- If you are booking a band or other entertainment at the same event, you will be paying from the time of the duration while the equipment is set up, so if we are expected to set up early you will be charged from the time we set up to the time we finish playing... even if you have a band playing for the first few hours, you will still need to pay for our time. Also when booking acompanying bands we strongly insist we set up prior to the band’s arrival.
- We will price match, if not beat any price from any club presenter or a mobile roadshow considered equal quality, presenting style or sound performance of a show similar to our own on all bookings we may take. We do not charge for set-up & take down or travel time. We will only quote for the stated times you said you want us to play from & to or from the arranged hours of arrival without setting up time.

Don't let your budget dictate your party planning & then consider the entertainment as an afterthought, The entertainment you choose should reflect on your ideal importantance of the event, the quality of the service they offer should be the 1st thing on your mind. So before you go out & book the cheapest DJ you can find it’s worth pointing out a few things that may persuade you to think otherwise.
Nothing else that you hire for the day will provide as much service and experience as a professional DJ. this is why we feel it is important that you make the right choice. The DJ makes everything happen. On time and the way you want it. He is the life of the party and soul of the music. He is the one all others will look to for event management and leadership. he is also the one who is in control & knows what needs to be done from that moment right to the end of the night. The good time your guests had is what they will remember best.
You may think a top quality party is expensive, & the cost of hiring a disco can often amount to a substantial quantity of money. However, the more professional the disco service, then the more expensive the costs to run such a show. Costs include buying new music on an almost weekly basis, equipment servicing & equipment repairs, upgrades to equipment... etc. etc. A lot of people who do disco’s sadly often cut corners here & there to keep running costs down, such as not being insured, not replacing, repairing or maintaining their equipment on a regular basis, obtaining their music from illegal download sites (which will often be of poor quality), using home grade equipment they can obtain from the catalogue store instead of using professional equipment from a specialist supplier & of course skimping on health & safety... the list goes on, but to us this is regarded as cheating the customer & your party guests on the quality & high standards they are expecting. I’m glad to say cheating is not what we do.
If you hire or if you find one a DJ that goes out for really cheap rate's it may be worth remembering that they may be skimping on their costs & also their standards to suit so your night could cost you a lot more in the long run & your night of fun could be quite the opposite. A poor DJ also only tend to play the music they like themselves & not what gets a dance floor going. Also, chances are they won't carry the music you need to get any atmosphere going. Like they say, “you get what you pay for”

Always remember that when you hire a DJ you pay a one off fee & get everything shown above included with the deal. if you had to pay for those things individually what would it really cost you?
Also consider:-
- Personal safety & the safety of your guests - Does your DJ have public liability insurance? Is the equipment tested or serviced regularly for electrical safety? If so, your DJ has shown he is aware of the importance of safety for all clients
- Equipment Quality - Does the DJ have the correct equipment for your party? Is it proper equipment that is designed for the job. Home DJ equipment (you can buy from any catalogue or high street suppler) & pro grade (only available from specialist suppliers) equipment may look the same but believe me, there are vast difference!
- Music choice - Do they have a suitable music library? Will the DJ you have chosen accept requests on the night?... if he does will be be playing clean versions of songs or songs with foul or obscene language.
- Preparation - Will your DJ give you an opportunity of meeting him prior to your party to discuss the entertainment & go over a timetable of events or a music selection?
- Personality - Will your DJ be able to interact with the crowd, will he be able to spot when things are going well & maintain the atmosphere Also is your DJ going to be flexible if things change at the last minute or mid event.
- When arranging or organising any event the DJ is usually the cheapest thing you need to hire, yet it will probably turn out to be the most important decision you make for the day. Don't make the wrong choice as you may well regret it & everyone who comes along will probably not remember your event for the right reasons.
We don't use any trained monkey or low rate 2 bit, DJ - we send you the best possible - every time, to guarantee you enjoy yourself.
